The Drama club is performing Matilda the Musical this week Thursday,Friday, and Saturday at Prairie high school. Come and watch them tell you a story! Support our school artists!

Every year we get 2 shows. I wondered why choose Matilda? Discussing with River Downey she says, “This year there was a lot of people who fit the cast like Josie for Matilda and Olivia for Ms.Honey.” She talked about how she thinks Claire picked it out because it was just so fitting.This year they chose to tell this story.  

If you are wondering if it’s worth watching, there are millions on Tiktok that wish the could. From this spectacular show many clips have gone viral on social media. Millions and thousands of views and likes giving more shine to this musical. Conversing with Morya Eddings who has seen the musical, we ask her if she liked the performance she responds, “ The set was so gorgeous and really cool and detailed. The whole production was very well done.” So far it looks like a favorite with many attending and are happy and excited to see where drama goes.

This musical was not only for entertainment it truly brought the community together.The parents and teachers really came out to support their students and children. Friends coming to show love to friends. Even just people that live near came to see the show and support our school! Community coming together is so important and helps the falcon spirit!

These young artists worked so hard to bring this story to life. A big round of applause to them and the commitment and creativity. Stay tuned for next year’s shows!
