For seniors Gavin Bower and Marshall Johnson, music is more than just something to listen to; it’s a part of their everyday lives. Apple Music Replay highlights the songs that students listened to the most.
Bower, a senior on December 4th at Prairie Highschool had many things to say about his Apple Music Replay, ” I listen to music all the time… at school, in the car, at home,” Bower says. believes that it is “a part of me,” and he has used Apple Music throughout high school. He appreciates the variety of music and likes genres like rock and soul. It’s special to him because, “it’s different in so many different ways,” he adds.
According to Johnson on December 5th at Prairie High, who has been using Apple Music for more than five years, music “sets the mood for everything,” He exclaims. He enjoys R&B and listens to it every day, usually while driving. He believes that music is indispensable, saying, “I don’t know what I would do without it.”
Both students demonstrate how Apple Music Replay is more than just a synopsis of songs; rather, it reflects them in ways in which music influences their daily routines, emotions, and identities and sometimes even behavior.
