Prairie High School students Shackleton Hoyt and Nathaniel Jarrett share insights on their promotional effort for IQ Bank that is held on the school campus. Their idea is to discuss strategies for ways to connect with students and emphasize the IQ branch’s purpose.
Shackleton Hoyt, a student at Prairie High School who is interested in the IQ Bank branch, is willing to share student experience with using IQ, and strongly suggest it to other students. Their goal is to let their peers such as teachers and students know the beneficial results that the bank provides.
Hoyt says, “We promote something that could benefit both teachers and students, so we find things that everyone likes, like snacks, a drink in the morning from falcon fuel, that anyone is able to have access to spread the word about our bank.”
Hoyt proves that this bank has made a significant impact on other students. “People are able to come in and ask questions about something from the financial world, and we can try to give them whatever assistance we can.”
Nathaniel Jarrett is also the member that focuses on the IQ bank branch. He is a peer influence in promoting the bank to other students. His strategic ways of promoting the bank is “identifying our audience and their needs, specifically students and teachers, and what can motivate them to bank with IQ and open them an account.”
Jarrett points out the convenient idea that, “people don’t have to drive anywhere, and is a cool new thing that’s just been added to the Prairie in general.” Flyers are posted around campus to gather students’ involvement in starting an account and transactions in order to receive fun prizes such as winning a yearbook, and redeem a free drink from falcon fuel.
