Food Ordering Services Not Allowed To Students At School

Many students at PHS don’t sit down to eat during lunch at PHS

At the moment students at Prairie High School are not allowed to order food through mobile apps.

Too much food is very important especially when it comes to the choice of food. Not many students at Prairie High School eat the school lunch given, some go off campus for lunch but what can those not allowed off-campus do? With food ordering services allowed would not being able to go off-campus be a problem anymore?

What are some reasons food ordering services are not allowed? Well, one big reason is safety. A student at Prairie High School says “It can be unsafe, you never know what the delivery person has in their car or with them.”

Another reason is this can cause confusion. A teacher at Prairie High School says “Staff would be confused about why there were so many random adults at the school.” Also, students can be confused about whose food is whose.

There are many pros and cons to food ordering services and students being allowed to use them but the cons outweigh the pros. So for now students ordering food to the school will not be allowed.
