With a dream job as a fashion designer, Emma Chang hopes to pursue that career after high school. “I want to make clothes because growing up I never really found any that fit my style,” says Chang.
Along with designing, this sophomore has many fun hobbies, from reading mystery and cheesy romance novels to watching Tangled and listening to R&B-style music.
Emma says that her favorite teacher is Mr. Hamilton in the food class, which is a popular answer among the students at Prairie High School. Although she enjoys food, out of any class her favorite would be science, and specifically Biology!
On the topic of science; if it was more advanced, time travel may be possible. If she had the choice, “I’d think I’d go to the future because the past already happened, I don’t wanna go back.” says Chang. Who knows, maybe she’ll be able to get a sneak peek of all her amazing clothing designs being worn by everyone in the future!
The app Emma tends to spend the most time on is Instagram. Although when not scrolling through posts, she loves to spend her time on warm sand with a nice ocean breeze. If she could go anywhere in the world, she didn’t answer with a specific location like Paris or Greece, Emma simply responded with “the beach, any beach.”
