Prairie students share their spring break plans from April 6-10th
Spring break is one of the most anticipated times of the school year. After months of classes, tests and busy schedules, students finally get a chance to relax, recharge, and have fun.
For some students, they spend their break going out and traveling while others use it to rest and chill at home. When speaking to student Andre Mbomba about his plans he says, “My only actual plans are probably going to the gym and going outside.” Other students spend weeks planning their perfect break. Like Payton Miller says, “I’m going to Arizona to explore and be adventurous and I love to plan my vacations ahead of time to look forward to them even more.” Whether it’s going on a trip, visiting family, or even just hanging out with friends, having some plans can make the time feel more exciting.
When asking 25 Prairie students about their dream spring break vacation destination, almost 50% said they wish to spend it in Hawaii. Mbomba agrees and states, “I would want to go to Hawaii because the weather is hot and there is so much to do.” Mbomba. A few other students add how they’d want to go to a whole other country. Miller says, “I really want to go to Europe because that would be such a fun experience.”
Spring break looks different for everyone, and there isn’t one correct way to spend it. Whether someone is traveling somewhere exciting or staying home and taking it easy, the most important thing is taking a break from the stress and doing what makes you feel at ease.
