Daniel Caesar’s latest album has sparked a lot of attention to many. The album was released October 24th, 2025. This has quickly become one of his most talked about albums. To get a student perspective, two prairie students give their opinions on the album. 

Senior Daphne Dirks has always loved Daniel Caesar and wanted to give her honest thoughts on the album. She shared that her favorite song from the album is “Touching God”. This stood out to her because it was very heartfelt to her. “I felt a good connection when I listened to it the first time,” she said. She notes “This album is perfect and I would change nothing and I would recommend this for everyone.” For Daphne, the album was very impactful and the songs held a lot of meaning to her. 

Very similar, Junior Andre Mbomba shares that his favorite song is also “Touching God.” He explained that this song made him feel emotional and that he would recommend this album to his close friends, Jayden Johnson and Carter Sae-lee. If he were to describe the album in three words, he says “Graceful, Beautiful, and Exotic.” He adds “He took his time with the album and he made it one of his bests.” 

As prairie students continue to explore “Sun of Spergy,” it’s clear that Daniel Caesar’s newest release has impacted a lot of people and it is a very liked album.
