Hannah Zehel, Staff Writer
“Every new beginning comes from some others end.”
Hannah Zehel is a senior at Prairie High School and a staff writer for the Falcon Flyer. She is known for her outgoing personality, her loyalty to her friends, and her love for working hard in school. Hannah says her biggest inspiration is her mom, who works hard and has shaped the kind of person Hannah hopes to become as she gets older. Her friends also play a big part in her life, she says they are “the best people ever,” and they continue to help her grow into who she is today.
Hannah’s education began at Walnut Grove Elementary, where she recalls her favorite memory was making papercut turkeys for the holiday season. She later attended Laurin Middle School, where she shares her highlight was “meeting my best friend Mackenzie.” Now she is at Prairie High School, where Hannah says her favorite subject is journalism and shares her love for the class,
“I love journalism because I get to learn to write stories and interview people from around the school,” she said. “It is also my favorite class because I have all of my friends in the class.” After graduation, Hannah plans to attend Oregon State University and major in business management to work in human resources.
Outside of school, Hannah loves to spend her free time going on night car rides with her group of friends, shopping, and sleeping. When asked what movie her life would be, Hannah replied, “My life is like the movie Tangled because it is always moving fast or full of a new adventure.” Hannah’s biggest personal accomplishment has been in the sport of gymnastics for over 10 years. Hannah explains her biggest advice for anyone new to Prairie High School is, “Find good friends and don’t be scared to step out of your comfort zone.” She hopes to finish senior year with positivity and make the best memories
