Amelia Frasier, Staff Writer
“Sometimes its the little things that can make a difference in someone world.”
Amelia is a senior at Prairie High School, and a Staff Writer for the Falcon Flyer. You can find her smile at the front and center of the track at football games, leading the charge as Head Cheer Captain of Prairie’s Varsity Cheerleading Team. Amelia prides herself on her commitment to her role as head of school spirit, her attitude bringing a constant positive energy to the field, competition, team space, and classroom alike. On a fundamental level, Amelia puts her all into everything she does, and hopes to maintain that reputation in her post-High School pursuits.
From cheer uniform to scrubs, a team-centered demeanor defines Amelia’s dedication to not only cheerleading, but her passion in the realm of medicine and health sciences as well. While exploration of sports like volleyball, competitive dance, gymnastics and soccer has shaped the majority of her extracurricular career, Amelia’s academic fascination with subjects like physiology, anatomy, and other medical sciences has maintained through it all. This passion has never faltered, as the same drive she exhibits during practices is applied to her efforts in school. Amelia looks forward to furthering her knowledge of human body systems in her next stage of enriching education.
Amelia’s devotion to consistency and leadership is something she’s upheld throughout her life, from her origins with competitive dance from the age of 7, to growing into her own as Cheer Captain. A learned toughness from the analytical and precise nature of dance has gotten Amelia to where she is today, defining her own sense purpose in raising the morale of her school community and celebrating the commitment and spirit of Prairie’s teams and athletes on her own terms.
