With our large population of students, There’s lots of personal favorites. That being said, there’s no doubt Holiday movies bring Prairie Students Holiday spirit.
Some students of Prairie love Christmas movies solely because of the sentimental value. Senior Kasen Campbell, Gives insight on how the holiday classics make him feel this time of the year. “The Grinch and Home alone are my favorite holiday movies, because I grew up watching them as a kid, and who doesn’t love the grinch!” “Watching my favorite holiday movies with my girlfriend and family makes me feel spirited.” Campbell states. Kasen’s words tell how these Christmas movies are entertaining when you’re a kid and also when you’re grown up.
Daphne Dirks, also a senior at Prairie gives a meaningful point of view when it comes to holiday favorites. She says, “The grinch is my favorite because it reminds me of my childhood, and I love the heartfelt characters. I love the movie Elf too because of the humor.” “When I watch these movies, I watch them with my friends and family. They put me in the holiday spirit.” Daphne Tells how These classics Give a sense of nostalgia, portraying her love for these movies.
Not only do holiday movies get PHS students excited for Christmas, it brings students closer to each other and their families, with a bond over their spirit. Movies, The Grinch, Home alone, and Elf will be enjoyed by many PHS students this season!
