After sending three girls from her team to the state bowling competition, Ronda Bash, the head coach of the Prairie High School bowling team, has achieved something really impressive. Because of her dedication and hard work, she was chosen as the Coach of the Week for February 16. This is a big honor and a great achievement in her coaching career.
Ronda Bash loves bowling and also enjoys spending time outside. She has a passion for yard work and gardening, saying, “Yard work I really enjoy being outside with my hands in the dirt and I love plants.” She has been a bowler herself since 2008, which gives her a lot of experience in the sport. Her love for bowling and her outdoor interests show how well-rounded she is, and she uses that energy to inspire her team.
This season has been very exciting for the Prairie bowling team. Under Coach Bash’s guidance, the team has had a lot of success. They managed to beat tough teams like Columbia River, which was a big win for them. They also sent three girls to the state competition, which is a huge accomplishment. Ronda Bash said, “This season has been very different for the rest. The team has had a lot of success.” She is proud of what her team has achieved. One of the bowlers who went to state would describe ronda bash as “caring, she also encourages me and makes me believe I can do better every time I bowl.” state participant Lila lukken said.
