Graduation is rising and seniors have a month and a half left to lock in and get prepared for AP Exams, Finals, and finish the second semester strong. Senior Mackenzie Moore and Annie Alvizures are both attending college to pursue their successful careers. Their goal is to take things one step at a time and finish this year strong and feel accomplished.
Moore, a senior at Prairie High school is involved in sports such as softball and basketball and balances well academically and with her sports. Moore emphasized her outlook after high school is to¨Major in biology with a minor in mathematics on the premedical pathway at Portland State University, and I chose to study that so that way I could go on to become an Anesthesiologist¨.
She continues to carry on her passion for softball and is committed to playing at PSU as well. She is joyful and is super excited¨To get to like begin my new journey into collegiate sports and collegiate softball and with my other teammates and coaches¨.
Alvizures, a senior that balances school and work. Her plan is to attend WSU Pullman and her choice of major is Nursing. She wants to study in this field because she says ¨I want to specialize in pediatrics and this is because I want to be a nurse for NICU babies¨.
Senioritis is up in the air and Alvizure’s plan moving forward till graduation is to ¨Continuing working on my work and turning in stuff on time, so that I am not behind or anything like that¨.
