Rachael Getty, the health room assistant at Prairie High School starts her day off with a coffee in hand from Starbucks. Getty’s usual order is coffee, but the spring menu caught her eye and she is open to sharing her review on the newly released drinks.
Getty’s favorite drink from the spring menu is the iced ube drink, which is a purple layer of cold foam on top with the taste of coconut macchiato. ”I like the ube and coconut flavor mixed together.”
She finds the seasonal promotion of these drinks appealing, such as the Chai, Macchiato, and Cold brew, which are Starbucks popular spring drinks with a touch of cold foam and toppings. Getty highly encourages other fans to look at the spring menu, ”Because the drinks give a spring vibe.” This indicates a sense of joy for the new season.
A student, Niah Parr also grabs a drink from Starbucks for a caffeine boost to begin her morning. She is open to trying new flavors that are around for a short period of time. Parr likes the “Cannonball drink because it’s really fruity and sweet.”
She noticed the menu captures a “fun colored,” and “bright feeling,” for the season of flourish. Parr states, “It’s more based on flavorful drinks and refreshers than hot coffee.”
Both Rachael Getty and Niah Parr found their own special favorites at Starbucks and are looking forward to further seasonal drink promotions.
