On December 4th, a group of Prairie Highschool students Michael Brychka, Tommie Vick and Jackson Paris logged on to play Fortnite’s new chapter 7. Offering sharply mixed reviews as some praised fresh features while others warned balance issues held the season back
They played a magnitude of games resulting in some wins and some losses but at the end of the day they were left thinking about some key takeaways. They share their takeaways on new given details. Michael Brychka and Tommie Vick both created some very mixed reviews. They were both asked “How they felt about the new season and their favorite and least favorite changes”. Brychka said “Its not bad, it’s easy to understand and nothing is too out of the ordinary, I don’t like the new building mechanics but I’m sure it’s better with time but I enjoy the new variety of skins being added as time goes”. Vick was asked the same question with little different responses “This is the best season of Fortnite ever” Vick exclaimed “I’ve been playing for 2 ½ years and they shouldn’t make any changes; these are the best changes ever”.
A big controversy in the Fortnite world was the killing of the bus driver both Brychka and Vick were asked about it and shared wildly different views,”This was a tragedy to Fortnite and I don’t understand why they would do it I’ve maybe thanked the bus driver 1,000,000 times before” Brychka said. But Vick’s thoughts on the other hand completely opposite “Awesome I was kinda done feeling forced to thank that guy and its good for a fresh new start.
Overall these two reviews left their opinions on the game and were finally asked the big question: would you recommend older players that have once left the game to now return? “No, the changes haven’t been dramatic enough to make a return nor is it worth it to play again.” Vick answers “Yes it’s awesome I believe everyone should play Fornite once again.”
