Winter break is right around the corner, which means Holidays as well! This is a time for baking, decorating, spending time with family, and presents! Find out what’s on PHS’s students’ wish lists this holiday season!

Senior Maddy Moore and Sophomore Avery Eterno’s Christmas lists show current trends, along with items that are personal to them. These trendy items are playing a big role in these students’ Christmas lists.

When Maddy Moore was asked the question, “Is there something trending right now that is on your list?” She responded, “I feel like jelly cats are trending right now, and I really want the croissant one.” But that’s not all she wants. She has about 35 items on her list, and her most wanted item is the Boston Birkenstock Clogs. Maddy is also very confident that she will be receiving skin care products because her mom likes to shop for those types of things!

Christmas isn’t all about the gifts, it’s about spending time with one another as well. Maddy and Avery are cousins and they enjoy spending the holidays together. They do a fun game on Thanksgiving where they draw the name of one of the cousins in their family, and they have to give that person a gift for Christmas. That’s a fun and great way to give to each other!

Avery likes to give presents to her friends, family, and boyfriend. She also shared that her favorite Christmas present she has ever gotten was, “A trip to Hawaii, it was so much fun!” If you’re not spending Christmas in Hawaii you might want to ask for a new puffer jacket, just like Avery has on her list!

Their Christmas wishes not only highlight their individual preferences, but also reflect wider trends, emphasizing that the holiday spirit is about joy, staying connected with the times, and family. And if you need some Christmas list inspiration, ask your fellow PHS students!
