Aubrey is a senior this year and 17 years old. Aubrey enjoys playing the alto saxophone, she started playing instruments when she was in 3rd grade. Aubrey loves shopping, more specifically thrifting. She loves long drives, especially in the rain. Aubrey is a very open person and always gives new things a try at least once. In the real world, Aubrey wants to be an advocate for Washington state and help out as much as she can and play a role of significance for the state, “I love Washington’s weather, I love life here, I love to hike here and sightsee everywhere, I really care about it. No where else feels the same.”
Aubrey is the speech and debate team captain, she started participating in the unified club her freshman year and is the president this year. She’s been in FCCLA since her junior year and is president also this year. Aubrey is president of the band as well too. Aubrey is always an outlet to people at prairie with her common understanding and knowledge of the school and clubs. She is of help to friends or classmates at prairie who are struggling to get involved. Aubrey decided to enroll in journalism after being inspired by friends of hers at Battleground that would partake in “BGTV”, similar to prairies morning announcement segments. In the future, Aubrey’s learning will further into the education of conservation, and possibly law. However she would also like to be an influence for Washington, possibly rehabilitating wetland, or rebuilding/building something beneficial for the state.
Aubrey was born in Vancouver and lived in Battleground as well. Five years from now in the future, Aubrey wants to move into an apartment after college, while pursuing her relationship with her boyfriend further. She sees a possibility for herself at this time to be getting her masters. Aubrey strives to be the kind of person that people can rely on and ask for help. She strives to be someone that people believe would truly be there for them and help them in whatever situation, whenever.
