Meet Alex Blakeslee. Alex is a Prairie High School student. He seems shy at first but very talkative, Alex opens up and connects with others once you get to know him. His way of expressing himself is drawing and note-taking. Sketching and drawing helps him express his thoughts and opinions to navigate challenges.
Alex has experienced changes from moving from one place to another then eventually settling in Washington has changed his life from being in the state of comfort zone with people he has grown up with and built off a strong foundation to where he had now experienced an opportunity for new growth and goals in his lifetime. His goal in life is to succeed in whatever he decides to do outside of high school.
Alex has a love for football he quotes that ¨ I like football because it helps me escape my thoughts and whatever is going on.” Alex faced many challenges and picked himself up each time to try his best to overcome them. His personal goal is to not overthink and not get in his head, especially during kickoff of the season. Alex says “ I am having a much better season now than I did my Junior year.¨ He continues to improve and strive throughout his final season. Alex is a Friendly, Funny, Shy Athletic student once you get to know him. He has found his place once again with having that experience to meet new people and his friends that he has made now from adapting well to new environments and friendships.
