Around the time of christmas, all the prairie students and even teachers make their lists for christmas. Everyone asks, going to school and asking your friends what they asked for, or what they get. For the students of prairie the insight is something asked about .We went around and asked a few Prairie students what they are asking for this 2025 Christmas year. 

When asked what he asked for christmas, Jesse Vanvolkenburg (11) said, “A new keyboard, and a new chair because my buttcheeks hurt from the one I have right now.” He states he has about 6-7 items on his list, and he sat down and thought about the stuff he wanted to make his list. His most wanted gift is a new chair, as his is very uncomfortable. Jesse is a gamer after school, playing a variety of games and even doing homework at his gaming desk at home. With an uncomfortable chair, doing work and gaming get the enjoyability sucked out of it.

When asked what she wanted for Christmas, Lana Blohm (11) said, “I asked for Timmy The Turtle, White fox hoodies, a nail kit, and new airpods.” She thought of her present ideas off the top of her head. Her most wanted gift is Timmy The Turtle, a frowning turtle jelly cat. A Jellycat is an expensive line of High-Quality plushies. She has 7 items on her Christmas list, mentioning blankets as well. She thinks out of all her presents, she is going to get Timmy the turtle, and her airpods. Lana is a big fan of plushies, animals, and weighted plushies.

When asked what she wants for Christmas, Jaylie Mallory (12) said, “Light blue Airpod Maxes, and a Kendra Scott bracelet.” Jaylie had two items on her list and sat down and thought about what she wanted in the moment to make her list. Jaylie works and buys most of her stuff herself, hence why her list is short. Jaylie is a big fan of music like Ken Carson, and she wants these headphones because she’s currently using her dads headphones.
