A perfect afternoon includes Drake, spicy ramen, hanging out with friends, and relaxing. If you like this afternoon plan, then you’d be best friends with Avery Hoskins! She’s passionate, caring, determined, brutally honest, and attentive. She’s also a great friend!
She’s not only a good student, but her personality and friendships are good too. She isn’t afraid to tell the truth when her friends need it. She cares about them very much and has their best interest at heart! She loves this piece of advice, “My biggest piece of advice is don’t let the pressure of anything outweigh the pleasure of anything.” She lives her life to the fullest and knows how to have fun!
Avery’s not only a student, she’s also a varsity athlete. She plays school and club soccer. “I want to go to college and continue to play college soccer. I don’t have a specific college but I want to stay on the West Coast.” She has been playing for 12 years and will play professionally in no time!
Journalism is her favorite class to go to. She enjoys learning the different techniques and using different strategies for her writing. She’s in her junior year and eager to graduate. “My favorite part about Prairie is the community and the people and how we treat each other.” Prairie loves her too!
Avery loves her mom, her 2 older brothers, and her dog Roxy. Her mom is her personal hero because of her independence. In 10 years Avery would like to graduate, with a family of her own.
