Prairie High School has begun its winter season for Boys Varsity Swimming. The first game was on Dec 4, and their final game will fall on Jan 29. The team consists of 10 swimmers, most of which are upperclassmen. There are five juniors, three seniors, and two freshmen.
Every player on this team plans to give it their all this season and try their best to make districts, or possibly even state. The coaches, Coach Sayle and Coach Dean are hard at work to ensure greatness from the players this season. This season will contain six conference games, two invitational games, and two practice games. However, regardless of if it’s a conference game, or if it’s just a practice game, the team plans to stay dialed in at all times.
These boys have high confidence and seem to not have very much nervousness about the season. “I believe that pretty much everyone on the team will reach districts, and a few will even reach state,” claims junior player Caleb Williams. Caleb has been on the team for three years and is district-qualified, so his statement is very believable.
“It’s my first year on the team and I feel better than I thought I would entering high school, the team is very inviting and knows how to motivate me,” says freshman player Aksel Hahn. Prairie’s team believes in team fairness as you can tell. Aksel is one of the two freshmen on the team and feels at home playing for the Falcons. Both of the player’s statements mentioned should give you solace for Prairie’s ability to compete.
Prairie High School’s coaches plan to train the players to their best ability. The players plan to push each other to their best performance, and themselves. This season looks very promising according to these boys, and it will be very entertaining for families and others to watch how it all plays out. This season should be packed with highlights and thrill, given the statements from the team.
