“I want to be! I want to be in Key Club!”, says Miriam. Miriam isn’t currently a part of any clubs, but she wants to be a part of the key club because of the volunteering opportunities. 

 Who is Miriam Harris? Miriam Harris is a returning student here at Prairie High School. She has attended Prairie since her freshman year and it is currently her junior year. This year, she is most excited for the school year to be done and for summer to be back! 

 Miriam has lived in Vancouver, Washington for her whole life. She has attended the Battle Ground School District for all of her school years. She had gone to Pleasant Valley for primary school, then Laurin Middle School. Now here she is a junior at Prairie! 

 Many people have their own struggles through school, but friends always seem to make it better! When asked what her favorite memory is, her answer was, “mainly just being with friends.”

 A fun fact about Miriam is that her favorite color is purple! She loves the R&B music genre and one of her favorite music artists is SZA. Her dream destination, she says, is, “Italy! Why? Cause it's in Europe!

 When she was young, she had dreamt of being a gymnast. Although that is an awesome dream, her plans and dreams have changed. Miriam plans on going to Clark College after High School, where she hopes to become a nurse or a physical therapist!
