In case you don’t know, prom is a dance that upperclassmen can attend with friends, with their girlfriend or boyfriend, or by themself. Practically every high school has a prom every year, and most of the time it’s only allowed for juniors and seniors to attend. Prairie High School is hosting its prom on May 3, 2025. It will fall on a Saturday and will go from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
If you’re a parent of a Prairie student reading this, and your student is either a junior or a senior, you should buy them prom tickets! Even if your student doesn’t have a date, or any friends for that matter, it would be an awesome event for them to experience and attend. It’s a perfect chance for your student to create beautiful high school memories. One ticket costs $35 with ASB, and $40 without.
If you’re a junior or senior at the school reading this, you should get tickets. You can even bring someone from another high school if you want! This year’s prom will be hosted at the Black Pearl, in Washougal, WA. The theme will be Rio de Janeiro, so make sure to dress tropical!
“I went to Prairie’s prom last year and had one of the best nights of my life,” says senior Sean Cunningham. “I’m looking forward to prom, as it will be my first prom ever and I plan to go with like five of my friends,” says junior Aiden Gariano. Many upperclassmen were asked if they were going to prom. The majority of them said yes, and were very unhesitant with their answers. Lots of people are going this year, so if you have not for some reason bought tickets, get them before it’s too late!
