Prairie High School ASB comes together to sell their spooky surprises once again. Selling and advertising with flyers and social media posts on Instagram and TikTok. The spooky surprises are sold at both early and late lunches. The first five days sold for $4 each and the last two days sold for $2 each. Lowering the prices to get more sales, as they lowered the prices for the last two days 70 spooky surprises sold, in total 108 spooky surprises were sold.
The ASB spirit team came together to review past years of spooky surprise sales, drawing inspiration and new ideas for this year’s spooky surprises, seeing what was liked and what wasn’t liked so they could make it better for people to purchase the surprises.
As they face accomplishments they also ran into a few challenges with the shipment, getting students to purchase, and find what they wanted to put in the baggies, but with a great spirit team, they were able to find a way to satisfy students and make sales while making the most of it. “We did have fun making the advertisements and Tik Toks were really fun and just honestly being able to make stuff for our school is fun!” senior Medina Hill says.
ASB has been doing spooky surprises for a long time now so being able to help do something for the school is so much fun for them, coming all together as a group, “Being able to help the school and put ideas out there that will help the community” Jackson Kimball states.
Spooky surprises continue to be a fun part of Prairie High School engaging with others and coming up with new ideas for more improvements for next year’s spooky surprises.
