“Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen”

-Hebrews 11:1

Millet is a 16 year old high school student at Prairie High School. She has been attending Prairie since her freshman year and is now serving her senior year of high school as ASB President. Millet was born on October 10, 2002 in Vancouver, Washington with the given name of Mirabella Elyse Millet. She was raised in a loving home by her parents Meghan Millet and Chris Millet. Having a close relationship to her older brothers Devon and Peyton, she enjoyed and still enjoys spending time with her family.

Millet is a strongly developed young woman and is able to share her light with others even in the darkest of times. When asked the question of what she would change in her past, Millet states “Maybe find my self value earlier in life.” Millet has the ability to find good in herself and gain powerful confidence by doing so. While realizing that she can always improve, she also stated that in life, a goal of hers is to strive for finding more manageable ways to cope and better strengthen her ability to tackle heavy challenges.

The future seems to be no worry for Millet. She has goals set in place to help her achieve her wants in life, such as graduating high school, going to college, finding a husband, and starting a family. She is hoping to find someone that will help achieve her goal of having a family. She wants her partner to put effort in improving their relationship and to never settle for less than they deserve; she also hopes to have these qualities in herself when the time comes. When thinking of becoming a wife and mother, Millet often looks towards her parents, of whom she finds to be very inspiring. Like Millet’s parents, she hopes to one day be happily married and deeply in love.

Each day Millet strives to leave a good impression wherever she goes. She hopes that she will be remembered as the girl that made someone's day through even a simple act of smiling or waving. She embraces her friendly personality and gives comfort to those in need by using  her welcoming invitation of friendship. Striving to be an influential person has been an important thing to Millet. She wants to make sure everyone feels the love that she has been so blessed to have.

A huge part of Millet’s life is her passion for dance. At the age of 4, she began taking dance classes and the love has grown over time. She started out taking one or two dance classes a week and one performance at the end of the year, and now spends around 20 hours a week dancing and continually competing throughout the year. Sadly, it had to come to an end, she stated, “It was starting to affect my school work, so after months of deciding, I quit last May.”

Each day Millet strives to grow a little stronger than she was the day before, and overall hopes to become the best version of herself as possible.
