Perfecting Performance

Athletes come in all different shapes and sizes. Most of them have to work or practice to get to where they are currently or where they want to be in the future. Those goals don’t just happen overnight, it takes a lot of time, hard work and constant dedication. With a wide variety of ways to excel in athletic ability, Isaac Moroshan says,”I workout six days a week so I can get stronger for the things I do.” With this being what most people do to propel their abilities, it still proves a very effective way to achieve your goals.

Getting stronger is a very important aspect in all sports, but strength isn’t the only thing that an athlete needs to get better. Sophomore Drew Martin comments,”I do anything from simple layup drills to actual scrimmage games to get more of an actual in game experience.” Practicing the basics is a great way to stay above your opponents. With the combination of working out and bettering your mechanics, this will really show who really wants to be able to play at the next level.

Perfecting your performance can be done in many ways, such as lifting weights, doing drills or any sort of training in general. This just shows that anyone can be a good athlete if they choose to put in the effort. Becoming a good athlete takes time and practice; and to the right person, it can be really quite rewarding.
