The boys soccer team tied with the Kelso Highlanders 2-2 on Friday, April 19 at the Falcons home field.

The boys team started off their second round of league with Kelso as their leading competitor. Senior, Blaine Clary noted how the team had a mentality to win going into this game because of this games importance, regarding playoffs. “Mentality going into the game was this is one of the games we need to win to have a shot at playoffs.”

The boys started the game off very strong, according to senior Austin Mahoney, by scoring two goals making the score 2-0. They gave up a goal before half and another goal three minutes before the final whistle, which signified the end of the game. “We started off strong which is something we have been working on and went up two to zero but kind of threw it away in the end.”

The boys are preparing to play Fort Vancouver on Tuesday, April 23, at Fort Vancouver high school at 6 p.m.
