The Falcons wrestling team took on the highlanders last Wednesday night but fell short in a  38-30 loss.

The Falcons fought a tough couple matches but fell short by only 8 points. Senior Brayden Sophianos said that even though they lost, the highlight of the night was when “Bridger Paradis won a huge match” during the night which helped the Falcons gain a few more points.

Junior, Bridger Paradis said “It felt rewarding because I put a lot of work into the sport and my opponent was tough so it felt really good to win that match.” Everyone in the gym that night thought Paradis had an outstanding performance. “Our team was determined to win, even though we didn’t, we gave it our all and that all that matters” says Paradis. The Falcons have worked extremely hard this season which is resulting in good results for each and everyone of them.

The next match will be when the Falcons take on Fort Vancouver this Thursday night at 7:00pm for the senior night.
